Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, joining the BIGFATMODS DayZ server, or purchasing a support tier, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site, server, or Discord.

2. What We Offer

BIGFATMODS operates community DayZ servers (Xbox and PC, Chernarus) and offers optional monthly support tiers (Survivor, Scavenger, Nomad, Legend). Playing on the server is free. Support tiers include Discord perks and Discord Currency, which is usable in our in-game shop for basic gear and supplies. The shop does not sell fully built bases or top-tier vehicles. See "How Support & The Shop Work" on the main site for full details.

3. Billing & Subscriptions

  • Support tiers are recurring monthly subscriptions billed automatically through Stripe until cancelled.
  • You can manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal.
  • Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period; perks remain active until the end of the period already paid for.
  • Prices may change with notice posted on this site or announced in Discord; changes apply to future billing cycles.

4. Perks & Fulfillment

Perks (Discord Currency, roles, Discord channel access, Base Radar Access, Builder Shed access, etc.) are tied to an active subscription and are fulfilled manually or automatically as our systems allow. Perks end when a subscription lapses or is cancelled. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove specific perks from a tier with reasonable notice.

5. Conduct & Server Rules

Cheating, exploiting, hacking, duping, harassment, and other rule violations may result in a mute, kick, or permanent ban from the server and/or Discord, at our discretion, regardless of subscription status. Purchasing a support tier does not entitle you to immunity from moderation. Full server rules are maintained in Discord and may change over time.

6. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the server, Discord, or support perks for violating these terms or our server rules. If your access is terminated for a rule violation, you are not entitled to a refund of any active subscription.

7. No Affiliation

BIGFATMODS is an independent, community-run server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bohemia Interactive, the publisher of DayZ. All DayZ trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The server and site are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, save/data persistence, or that the service will be error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BIGFATMODS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the server, Discord, or site, including loss of in-game progress or items.

9. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the server or site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
